Best Bet 3.1 is a simple to use DOS based handicapping program which uses speed, pace, improvement, class, and earnings as factors in determining horses to bet.  It won't make you rich, but it will help you sort out good bets and when used with the betting system included, shows a small ROI. BESTBET is a thoroughbred handicapping system for the $2 bettor.  This is a quick and easy application that uses a horse's recent speed, class, pace, improvement, and earnings to handicap a race.  Up to four 'best-bets' will be listed in order of their relative strength.

Includes average speed calculation based on the last three races, use of the Sartin methodology to get a more accurate representation of early pace, help statements, better error trapping of inaccurate input, and more.
